How to start a career in IT
It is not easy to start a successful career in IT. There are many things that you should consider before you make the decision to become an IT professional.
There are three phases of an IT career- Entry, Experienced, and Expert. Each phase requires different skill sets and levels of commitment. For example, positions in the Entry-level are usually entry-level positions with little experience needed. This would include positions like help desk analyst or help desk technician. Experienced positions require more experience and skillsets like system administrator or network administrator. Expert-level positions require years of knowledge and specialization in a specific area like Enterprise Architect or Chief Information Officer (CIO).
